The Enrollment Division is composed of the following core teams: Admission, Admission Information Systems & Operations, Enrollment Analytics, Enrollment Marketing and Communications, and University Financial Aid Services. Together, these departments work in tandem to drive the mission of Rice University by recruiting, evaluating and enrolling exceptional students.

The Office of Admission manages all undergraduate applications (first-year, transfer and special populations) at Rice University. The core functions of Admission revolve around recruitment, application evaluation, and ultimately, building a class that aligns with the institution's mission and goals. We take a holistic, team-based approach to reviewing applications with the goal of enrolling a diverse class of the most talented students from across the country and around the world.

The Office of Financial Aid is committed to making a Rice education accessible. It acts as the institutional steward for all forms of student funding, ensuring compliance, calculating need and determining the final financial aid package each student receives. Financial aid counselors provide support and guidance through the financial aid process, offering assistance to students and families throughout their application journey.
